Ep.9/ Embracing tenderness
Amidst the cosmic dance of Chiron and the Sun, it's a time for gentleness and self-care.

16/4/24, Day 1, Inner Winter
Archetypal embodied astrology, is about using the placements of celestial bodies to understand deeper parts of our own inner psyche.
Chiron, the wounded healer, is currently aligned with the Sun, the planet that symbolises our ego and conscious self. This alignment invites us to explore the depths of our being, to heal old wounds, and to step into our highest truth.
The recent encounter between Éris, representing discord, chaos, and tough love, and the Sun might have shaken us to our core. It's those moments of intensity that push us to confront truths we've been avoiding, truths our souls urge us to acknowledge.
Reflecting back to the October 15th eclipse, when Éris activated our north node of destiny, we may find echoes of themes resurfacing. Personally, I've been navigating some deep-seated emotions, tender and raw, demanding acknowledgment. It's not easy; it feels like a part of me is undergoing a profound transformation, akin to the death of an old self.
But amidst the pain, there's a whisper of hope.
As I embrace my body's natural cycle, allowing it to shed what no longer serves, I'm reminded of the rose's journey. In its demise, it gives birth to the resilient rosehip, embodying the cycle of transformation and renewal.
Let's not forget the cosmic alignment on October 15th, where Éris met our node of destiny during the eclipse. It's a cosmic embrace, urging us to delve into our truths, to heal, and ultimately, to emerge into the light.
Yes, it might hurt. It might feel like traversing through darkness. But trust that on the other side, there's illumination, there's growth, and there's the promise of living our most authentic selves. We're held by the cosmos, guided towards our truth, even amidst the pain. 🌹💫
CYCLE WISDOM TIP
Practice tender self-care as you move towards your inner winter moon time or dark of the moon.
Our inner Autumn (premenstrual luteal phase) is our time of self-reckoning. It can be a time when our psyche shows us the less-than-pleasant parts of ourselves — or our lives — that we are being invited to release with our upcoming Inner Winter moon-time bleed.
This can feel tender and crunchy.
It is a precious time when you get to choose what you want to release in your menstrual Winter.
If you are in menopause or perimenopause and no longer menstruate, you can cycle with the dark of the moon which is the 2 days leading up to the new moon.
What are 3 things that you can do this next cycle to give yourself a little tenderness? For me, I am looking forward to a long hot bath, and tumeric tea. The earthiness of it always relaxes me and grounds me into my beingness.
Q&A — What if Big Emotions Rise Up
Allowing uncomfortable emotions to arise can help us to release dense energy in our bodies, however it can sometimes feel overwhelming.
You can self-regulate your nervous system with the following 3 simple practices.
First, simply place both feet gently on the ground, legs slightly apart, place a hand on your heart and your hand on your belly. Take 3 - 5 deep gentle, deep slow breaths.
If you still feel uncomfortable, gently cross your arms over your body and give yourself a gentle squeeze. You can tap your fingers gently like butterfly wings, or softly rub your hands up and down your arms which can help to regulate your nervous system.
Be gentle on yourself, and seek professional advice if you need support .
